Pokemon Celebrations 25th Anniversary Set
Celebrations-producten omvatten promokaarten die nieuwere Pokemon combineren met populaire spelmechanismen van de afgelopen 25 jaar, zoals Dark and Light Pokemon, Delta Species (δ) Pokemon en Pokemon Star. De hoofdset bevat meer dan 45 kaarten, waaronder vier Pokemon V en twee Pokemon VMAX. Het zal Legendary, Mythical en andere geliefde Pokemon bevatten. Dit omvat Mew, Ho-Oh, Zamazenta, Flying Pikachu en Surfing Pikachu. Professor Oak zal ook verschijnen.
Nog spannender is dat Celebrations een speciale subset van 25 kaarten bevat met “close remakes” van iconische kaarten uit het verleden. Dit omvat Base Set Charizard, Umbreon ☆, en Tapu Lele-GX. Basisset Pikachu wordt ook genoemd.
Zoals eerder gepost, bevat elk boosterpakket vier holokaarten. Elke kaart is voorzien van een 25-jarig jubileumstempel. Deze Celebrations booster packs zijn alleen te vinden in speciale Celebrations producten, die in oktober zullen beginnen uit te brengen.
De set zal gebaseerd zijn op de 25th Anniversary Collection van Japan en de bijbehorende producten.
Kaartafbeeldingen
Update #1: Officiële productafbeeldingen uit Brazilië hebben Dragapult Prime, Mimikyu δ, Light Toxtricity, Hydreigon C en Zacian LV.X onthuld. Ze gebruiken dezelfde kaartsjablonen en kunststijl als hun tijdperken, alsof de kaarten toen werden gemaakt.
We kunnen ook het holofoil-papier zien dat de set op Zacian LV.X zal gebruiken. Pokemon zal waarschijnlijk alle kaarten op hetzelfde holofoil-papier afdrukken.
Deze kaarten zullen waarschijnlijk niet legaal zijn voor toernooien. Ten eerste hebben ze geen legaliteitsmarkeringen. Onder de auteursrechten is er ook een soort notitie die moeilijk te lezen is – het zou zoiets kunnen zeggen als “Niet legaal voor toernooispel.” Zacian LV.X heeft ook een Poke-Body, die onverenigbaar zou zijn met de kaarten van vandaag.

In dit geval staat de “C” voor Champion, daarom staat Champion Iris afgebeeld op deze kaart. Natuurlijk bestonden Iris en Hydriegon toen niet, maar deze kaarten doen alsof ze toen gemaakt zijn!)
